Brachiosaurus was an herbivore from the Upper Jurassic Period. It is estimated to have been between 59 and 69 ft long. Brachiosaurus was unusual in having longer front legs than back legs, leading to its name that means "Arm Reptile". This, together with a long and powerful neck gave this dinosaur an advantage of height when searching for food.
